Cousins...

Here are some pics of Keegan's cousin Emma who lives in Indiana. They visited for the day and we really enjoyed their company as always...

Cant wait to meet little cousin Annie (hooray...someone else with my name!!!!) in May!!!!

Keep in mind when you see the size difference between Keegan and Emma that they are only a few months apart in age. They really got along well and only had a few issues with sharing (impressive for 2 year olds I think!!!). They even gave each other a big hug and kiss!!!

Isnt Emmas monkey face adorable???

The last pic is of Aunt Lisa and Keegan.

Heather and Marylin...I will email you the rest of the pics!!!

God Bless Baby Reese

Reese was baptized today. We had a wonderful day and were so thankful that the Godparents we chose for her were able to make it into town despite their hectic schedules. Thank you Neal and Rebecca for making the trip and for being such an important part of Reeses life. Kurt and I could not think of 2 people who could possibly be a better influence in the life of our precious daughter. Your friendship and the role you have played in the lives of our children means the world to us!!!! And aunt Lisa...thanks for being her Catholic Godparent. You already know you mean the world to us and dont need a title to know how special you are to the kids and Kurt and I. And Mark...thanks for taking such great pics to help us remember this special day...we REALLY appreciate it. You are a keeper:)

And Fr Dave...

Thanks for being so accomodating and making the day so special. The ceremony was wonderful and the homily truly made us think about how blessed we are to have Reese in our lives and what a big responsibilty she is. We promise to do our best to raise her in the faith. We will be sure to stop by and see you at mass when we are in town. Hopefully Reese will be a little less verbal during mass:)

Thanks to everyone who came over to the D10 house afterwards to celebrate the day also. Sorry the baptism wasnt a little closer to home...just hectic to plan with the holidays etc. We are really happy that so many of you joined us afterwards.

It was a wonderful day and a great time to reflect of how truly blessed our lives are...

Here are the pics...

Christmas Day...

The four of us all woke up to see that Santa had been here...and just spending the day together made our day!!!! We are very thankful for being able to spend all of th special moments together this year!!!!

I woke up with a cold...but was still soooooo excited to see the kids. Reese loved to eat the paper more than anything. She got a little play house (that Keegan thinks is his), a tutu (pics to come soon!!!!), a teddy bear, drums (from her Godparents the Newells...which Keegan also thinks are his), and some musical instruments from gymboree...

Keegan didnt even know where to start. He really wanted to play with each toy...but was also eager to unwrap them all. He even helped Kurt and I with ours. He loved thhe Mnms in his stocking and his new Thomas the Train toothbrush the most. And Santa must have thought he was a very good boy despite the occasional whining, not listening to mommy and never eating his veggies. Keegan got a train table and thomas trains, playdough, a grocery cart with food, a stuffed turtle, a projector that puts cool pics on the wall, megablocks, a sit n spin (also from the Newells and I am sure is payback for me getting the twins one for their day), a cash register (he is obessed with, a plastic piggy bank, and a magnadoodle. I know...we went crazy...but we were super excited about the holidays...

As for Kurt and I...we decided to go easy this year...which I just realized didnt work so well...

I got a beautiful pair of earrings and some accessories for the camera I got a few weeks early. Oh...and a trashcan. Before you call to give Kurt a hard time....I iactaully begged for it. It is the automatic knd that knows when you need to throw something away and opens the lid automatically. COSTCO just in case you are odd like me and just have to have one:) And Kurt got a Robert Taylor P-51 print and had it framed and matted, new Pjs, a watch box. But the best thing of all was what I call his "metrosexual stocking" that I filled with things so he could looks and smell fabulous:)

We had a wonderful dinner and just played with the kids all day. It was prefect until Reese pulled up to standing with the help of the train table...then fell and busted her lip. She was tough and didnt cry much...but poor little thing bled like crazy.

The sugarplums are in bed now...and I am going to do the same. Long day...but by far the bext Christmas ever!!!!

Hope everyone else had a great Christmas also...

And see those of you in OH in a few days!!!!

Christmas Eve

Sorry that these pics are gone...

When I made the slideshow I used a preset format and didnt know that it included a song. The song was driving me INSANE...so when I get to it I will repost the pics or create a new slide show..

Sorry to those of you who had to suffer through the Ashley Tisdale Christmas songs:)

These are pics from Christmas Eve...

Keegan decorated sugar cookies...aka dipping them in icing, adding a few sprinkles licking it all off and repeating. And just in case you were wondering, no...we didnt give those to the neighbors. We also sat some out for Santa...but just in case the rumors were true about Santa being real, we also set out chips and some holiday microbrew for dad:) Looks like Santa liked the cookies too!!!!

Just before bed we went outside and sprinkled our reindeer food. Keegan was very detailed and it took him about a half and hour to disperse a half a cup of oats and sprinkles.

Of course, Santa dropped off a few toys that dad had to put together (pay back time for me having to do this all by myself last year...and he was thrilled to be here to do it!!!!) and we went to bed...

I guess the cookie and milk (the beer and chips were gone...so I guess he took those for the ride...hope Santa dindt get a ticket for flying while intoxicated) and the reindeer food worked since the tree had lots of presents underneath the next morning...

Check out the Christmas Dad pics for the rest of the story!!!!

Reese isnt too sure about finger foods. Of course everything that she shouldnt eat goes right into her mouth.

Mommys little Rudolph!!!!

Jack and Keegan entertaining each other...this seriously lasted for almot an hour!!!

From this pic you would never know that the terrible 2's are here!!!!

Fun in the kitchen

Keegans black eye...not from a fight with a bigger kid...Keegan lost a fight with the bathtub:(

Keegan and mommy before Mommys night out...the first one in quite some time so I figured it was worth getting all dressed up:)

Standing up!!!!

This is Kurts favorite face that Reese makes...it truly makes him laugh hysterically!!!!

Helping Dad. What I dont understand is what they are doing...the ladder isnt really near anything that needed fixed:) Maybe Keegan is just getting a lesson in the art of looking busy.

Super Peezy (this is Reeses nickname...I think it started b/c we called her ReesE...then ReesE Peicey...then it just turned into Peezey. Oh...and of course Keegan still calls her Cheese)

I just love this pic...such a cat that ate the canary look...which is Keegans evey day facial expression.

Keegan was chasing Jack here and trying to give him his toy. Jack didnt quite get it and just kept running. Needless to say...they both took a good nap soon after.

And here are the videos!!!! See how much I can get done when Kurt is home from work!!!! I told him we just need a nanny a few hours a day and everything would be grand...the house would be clean, the groceries bought, I could work ou and be out of my pajamas before noon. He hasnt given in yet though...something about not having anough money to live like celebrity:)

Here is Reese in action. She is so strong and determined!!! Keegan is really proud of her too!!!!

This makes me wonder why we bought lots of presents. We got Kurts present in the mail...it is a framed print and was wrapped in TONS of bubble wrap. The kids played with it all afternoon. And for the grandparents who are thinking that this was dangerous...we never took our eyes off of them and it was put in tha garage after we were done playing:)

More bubble wrap fun!!!

Reese having a serious conversation with Jack!!!!

Reese interested but a little frustrated by finger food!!!!
