they all scream for...

ICE CREAM!!! This is no exaggeration...my kids seriouly squeal for ice cream and some nights eat there dinners only because they want a scopp afterwards. So, it was a special treat when we went to the place Kurt and I used to go as children.

We got ice cream with nana and papa (who Keegan has been calling Joe-pa...a combo of his first name and grandpa...funny huh...unless you are a Buckeye fan???)
Keegan got "clown ice cream" and Reese just got plain ole ice cream with sprinkles...
The kids loved it and got all sugared up before returning to grandma and grandpas house for some dancing:)

Ok...done updating for now...way past my bed time.

Grandpa D has an outdoor railroad that the kids love...and this time it was decided that Keegan was old enough to learn to control them using the remote (obviously NOT moms idea!!!!) The kids could spend all day outside watching these cars go around the tracks. And there are even little people and accesories that they were allowed to play with. Needless to say, the kids were in heaven since normally all they get is Thomas and the train table at home!!!

fun on a hot day...

We used to have this same water thingy at home...then it popped after having it for 2 years. Grandma found one and suprised the kids with it on a nice hot day:) They had a blast...and then took a nice long nap!!!!

We almost always go to the zoo when in Columbus...and it just so happens that it is either unseasonably hot or cold whenever we go. Regardless the kids had fun. Keegan loved the monkeys and Reese was a fan of the elephants and the fish...

sugar=happiness

I have noticed that sugar cures just about anything in our house...wounds, tempter tantrums, exhaustion. So, imagine what a good day it was when it all started with doughnuts from Kurts favorite bakery:)

And although the pics may show otherwise, Reese really did get one too. She is just a bottomless pit and was begging for Keegans after she finished her own!!! downloaded.

KidSpace

We went to the Center of Science and Industry (COSI for you Ohio folk)...they have an amazing kids area called KidSpace!!!! They had sooooo much fun from the moment we arrived (and daddy did too even though I lectured him before we arrived that this was a day all about the kids) The kids crashed before we even got out of the parking lot when we left.

Keegan and Reese were spoiled (whats new!!!)...

Reese got a trunk full of dress up stuff and Keegan got a keyboard. They both love the gifts and have even been inspired to share now and then:) And who knew a toddler boy could walk so well in heels!!!!
