BOO!!!!

Today Keegan and Reese hosted the squadron playgroup and we did a Halloween theme. The kids dressed up...well, kinda:) They ran around like crazy people, ate lots of snacks and then trick or treated...well, kinda:) The basic idea is that it is impossible to truly organize a group of toddlers. Everyone had fun though and I think even the moms got a little tiem to chat and enjoy themselves...

Here are some pics...

Enjoy...and Happy Halloween!!!!

Reese is ready fo the party. She is sitting by our fake pumkin patch with her fake smile!!!!

Keegan decided that he liked the black hair and face paint of the vampire get-up...but not the cape. No most of the playgroup he just looked like a homeless, dirty kid. Once it was time to trick or treat he changed his tune though. I guess a cape is only worthwhile when sugar is involved.

Grace decided to make her lion costume just a little cooler.

I love this pic...she is just too cute and was by far the happiest toddler in costume. She even roared like a lion for everyone. She is such a performer!!!

Cameron didnt need a costume...he just decided to be an airplane.

Baby Nolan was a duck and I declared him the costume contest winner. Can anything be cuter than a baby sleeping in costume??? Anyway...he had this great bib to show his Halloween spirit. Dont you just want to pinch his cheeks!!!!

And Avery was Lil Red Riding Hood. I honestly think she is one of the most beautiful 5 year old girls I have ever seen....and she was the only one who posed instead of giving me grief for taking pics.

Parker was a monkey...and monkey who loves cars. Isnt he a cutie pie???? I am voting for him for Reeses future boyfriend. We could use a little Hawaiian in the D10 family:)

And Keegan decides to wear the rest of the costume.

He really got into the idea of being a vampire

The kids got lots of yummy treats. I am pretty sure baby Nolan had his eyes on those animal crackers.

Keegan checking out his loot. He is really going to be into walking around for candy this year. Not sure if the 4 houses on our court will be enough. The days of 10 minute lazy trick or treating are over. He even said "Trick or Treat" and "Thank" you to everyone. Awwww....such a big guy!!!!

And thanks to Felicia Keegan had his 1st pixie stick!!!! THANKS!!!!

Little Kirra enjoyed some yummy fruit with her pal Cameron. I told their moms that I would put some candy corn or M&ms in the food processor to mix in. I dont think that they thought I was funny:)

Can you tell how much Talon liked his costume. Even with the promise of candy it was a BIG "NO" It was the cutest costume ever though...from Pottery Barn...pants with stiches, the cutest velvet blazer and then this cute head. Hopefully he will decide to wear it later.

Parker still has a car!!!!!

Little Kirra with her cat onesie. I have some serious hair envy over that pony-tail!!!!

This was seriously the only pic I got of Kristen. She didnt not stop moving the entire time and when she saw my camera she hid!!!! She is so cute and gives Keegan a run for his money.

And here is our little Frankenstein with a happy look.

And...these will be boring to most of you...these are for my mom so she can see that I got a few of her genes. I planted my own planters last week and put up the fall decorations. My mom HATES Halloween and anything spooky or gross...I I just wanted her to see how tastefully we decorated. I forgot to take pics inside. Oh...and the GIANT inflatable pumpkins that Keegan just HAD to have arent pictured either...so maybe we have a little bit of tacky. But all in all I think Nana would be impressed:)

Keegan and Reese,

Thanks so much for hosting the plygroup this week. I had so much FUN until my Mom put my Frankenstein hat on, but I still ended the playgroup with a blast. Thanks again and I'll see you at the pumpkin patch on Sunday.

What FUN!!!! You do such fun and entertaining things with your kids. I LOVED the decorations and your potted plants and I am sure your Mom will too! Very Martha Stewart!!
I am waiting for pictures from Heather ..they took the kids to the zoo yesterday...in costume and there are literally thousanbds of carved and decorated pumpkins all along the path ways. And Halloween music playing over the PA...they took Emma last year...she loved it!!
Hugs and Kisses to Keegan...aka Dracula and Reese...aka Princess Ballerina.
Luv to you all.

I'm with Rebecca, thank you for posting pics of Keegan, Reese, and Grace! It's going to be a sad Halloween for me this year with no trick or treating. My parents live in the country and there are no neighbor kids. Luckily we're simulating Halloween next Friday for my Granddad with my little cousins, I can't wait to see them in costume!
