We had a luau theme bbq today for Reese and Kurts bdays. Two big celebrations...turning one and turning 30 (in a few days). It was lots of fun...
Here is a quick recap...
I ordered Reese an adorable 3 tiered cake (to make up for the slack I got from Rebecca for being a bad mom for not making her a homeade cake) and was thrilled with how cute it ended up...and REALLY yummy too. Kurt got a bday apple pie...which I found out candles dont stick in too well.
Lots of good friends and family...Reeses Godfaher Napalm (of course not his REAL name) was here from TX (we missed you tons Rebecca and kiddos!!!!), aunt Lisa came in from Ohio, Aunt Debbie and Uncle Steve, and of course lots of our AF family. Thanks to everyone for being here...we love you all!!!
It was REALLY hot so we stayed inside most of the time...but ventured out in the evening for the kids to splash and even a few brave souls swam in the pool (I still think it is too cold...but the Rosales kiddos loved it!!!)
Reese and Kurt both got some very sweet gifts...most of Kurts were liquid but a few had to do with the bday gift he bought himself. In case you havnt heard he ordered a BMW. It is being made in Germany right now...should be here in about 6 weeks!!!! It will also be his 31st, 40th and 50th bday gifts too:)

I LOVE THIS CAKE!!!! So, leave a comment to tell me how much you thnk I paid for it...it was a topic of discussion at the party:)
Aunt Lisa and the Bday girl. She borrowed a shirt of mine...and when Keegan saw it e kept reminding her that it was my shirt. He notices when I paint my toes etc..and yesterday he would only drink out of a pink cup. Maybe I shoud start sending him to work with Kut to get some guy time") Ok..that was a long caption for a pic that didnt even hae Keegan in it:) I guess I type like I talk:)
Look at those hawaiian outfits
I think this is the cutst bday hat in the world....if you think so too head to Hobby Lobby!!!
Reese got the tiki hut off the top off her cake all to herself...
Or so she thought. BROTHERS!!!!Thanks Michaela for taking such great pics!!!!
Note to moms...brown icing for first bday good...green, OK too. When they mix it looks pretty gross!!!! For more pics of Reese looking like she has poo smeared on her face check out the slideshow below.I will try to get them all on shutterfly soon too...

I missed seeing all of you there! thought of you TONS though! Okay I would have made the cake for FREE! But it would not have looked that good. I would have spent about $62.30 for the cake! It is awesome, whoever made it did a great job!
