Mmmmmmmmmmmm......

On Friday Kurt received a special delivery. His mom had visited Barberton, Ohio, the town where she grew up and Kurt went to visit his grandparents often. One of his fondest memories of his grandfather was his vegetable garden in the summer and a special hot pepper he grew. We have looked for them online etc with no success. So, while visiting Mom D picked up some of the peppers from another family member and overnighted them to us. Kurt came home from work and smelled them instantly. The net day he was so excited to make a fried pepper and onion sandwich just like his grandpa used to make for him. Needless to say he had a great day. So...keeping with the cooking theme I let Keegan help me make (or scoop from a plastic tub...life has changed alot since having 2 kids!!!) chocolate chip cookies. And of course he got to try one too...his very first. He is like mom and loves chocolate!!! Here are the pics...enjoy!!!!
