We like to celebrate big in our house. Why have one party when you can have 2. Sooo...we celebrated in Ohio with the family first. We went to Magic Mountain. My kids had never been to a place with games and coins and prizes. They were HUGE fans. Thank you to the cousins for coming out to hang with Keegan and make him feel special. He is still talking about this day over a month later!!!!

O-H
so....I was terrible about taking pics while I was home. This was our first trip home that was actaully relaxing. The kids wanted to wander off and play with their cousins, they would stay with any of the family members without fussing, and we didnt need a crib or pack n play...so we were able to put them to bed wherever we landed for the night...
They loved the snow and it was a GREAT trip home.
Here are the photo highlights...

Is there anything more festive than Christmas lights under a blanket of snow????

Heliport
Since our life doenst involve enough aviation, we went to the heliport and saw the police helicopters. Funny enough, Reese is the one in LOVE with whirrlybirds. It was a fun day and we ended it with some yummy Italian food with Nonnie and Boppa.
Keegan tells us all the time that Boppa is the chief...but Nonnie is the boss;)
My little Maverick
Emma and Annie
One of our highlights of the trip to OH was getting to visit with Heather, Emma and Annie (our Goddaughter). It was great to catch up and spend time with the girls...and the kids had soooo much fun together. The age gap is pretty much not even and issue anymore.
Christmas (a little early)
We celebrated at home a little early since we flew to OH on Christmas Eve. This year, the excitement was "The Elf on the Shelf" The kids were soooo excited about finding where Blizzard the elf moved to every morning after he went back to the North Pole overnight to report to the Big guy:)
Reese doe not make an appearance in this post b/c she was in a mood. She was too busy playing with her Barbie pool to be photographed and melted down if you even turned the camera in her direction
The rest of the Christmas pics will be in the Ohio post

Catching up...
So, amisdt the idea of moving to Germany my poor blog has been neglected. Very sad considering we were home over Christmas and have had all sorts of things going on. So....I will attempt to get up to speed now...
We will start with our winter wonderland adventure in Flagstaff. Nonnie and Boppa joined us from OH. They normally come to visit to escape Ohio weather...so we knew that they loved us when they decided to visit to head towards snow. Not only did we get snow, we got blizzard like conditions on our last day.
We started out by visiting the Meteor Crater. It is basically a GIANT hole in the ground...but somehow it swept Keegan away. He woke up every night for a week in tears b/c he wanted to go back. He still talks all about the crater and it really sparked his interest in outer space.
We rode the Polar Express with our friends the Woodards...which was truly magical for the kids. the look on their faces when Santa gave them their bells was unforgetable.
It was an amazing weekend with friends and family:)
Enjoy the pics...
