a little love...

WAY late...but here are a few pics from Valentines Day. Kurt and I dont normally do anything...but it is fun with the kids. We got them lunchboxes and filled them with stuff. They were very excited to get a bunch of cheap crap:) We also had a squadron playgroup and the kids hadned out Valentines...TOO CUTE!!!! The kids range in age from about 6 months to 4...so the concept of handing out candy to other children was a little confusing. In the end they each had a container filled with move notes and sweet treats. Here are a few pics of the day courtesy of Pam, who unlike me actually charged her camera!!!!

Reese in her cute short from Aunt Lisa...she had the cutest headband on too but it was long gone by the time the camera was out...

This is Jasmine and Cameron who just turned a year old. Doesnt this remind eveyrone of me a few years back??? Other than the fact that she is a beautiful, glowing mom to be and I was lucky if I showered from day to day:) She is due in April.

Keegan and his LOOT. He has asked for his "Balentine" box every morning for the last 2 weeks.

Reese, Emily and Grace

Mmmmmm....sugar!!!! I bet you can tell how great my nap was this day from the cheekfulls of candy. Thats right...the kids were WAY to spun up to sleep!!!! And you guessed it,,,they were also a joy after too much junk food and no sleep:(

I had to post this...Emily even had Valentine shoes!!!!!
Mom...does this remind you of anyone...barefoot and loving it. Cant keep this girls shoes on!!!!
Keegan, Andrew and Emma. Emma is 2 weeks younger than Keegan. It always cracks me up to see them together since she looks so much older than him. My lil clone of Kurt:)

Too Cute...

So here are two pics of Reese from the last 2 days. We went to the zoo one day (explains the flamingos) and we hung out at the squadron and had lunch with Kurt today. It is seriously a miracle that she let me get near her with a hairbow...and she even kept them in her hair all day!!!! I think it helped that Keegan was the sweetest big bro ever and made a huge deal about her hair do. He looked at her and said "Oh my Reese, you look so beautiful". And yes, I did tear up!!!!
The striped outfit is one of my favorites from Aunt Lisa...the purple is my favorite from her Godmother Rebecca. All of a sudden she likes bows and accessories. Maybe I have a chance that she will not follow in her mothers footsteps and only want to wear baseball hats and cleats!!!!

Not much time...kiddos will be awake soon....have a wonderful weekend!!!!

I will try to get some video on here soon...

Smarty Pants...

So a few days ago during breakfast I asked the kids (mostly Keegan since Reese's response to everything is "NO") where milk came from. I was 100 % certain we had discussed this, it is a pretty basic concept afterall. Something I should have brought up when we were learning animal noises etc.

So...when asked where milk cam from Keegan first said the refrigerator:) When I asked him where it came from before the refrigerator he said the Commissary (my good ole AF kiddo). So...we talked about how milk came from cows etc. He is up to speed now. So I thought that topic was over when he told me that soy milk came from soy beans and that they are vegetables:)

It is fun to see him really start to understand everything and I love having conversations with him. Of course he is also starting to negotiate and that isnt my favorite thing. I had bunco at the house last night and when it was bedtime he said that he would go to bed if I took him the the zoo. That is a pretty big reward for just going to bed!!!! In the end he settled for a piece of candy and a chance to come out and say goodnight to all the ladies:)

Just a few little funnies...pics will have to wait...I am taking a nap with the kiddos today!!!!

Have a great week...

BAM!!!!

Here is our lil Emeril at work.

Every 3 seconds Keegan asked me if it was time to lick the spoon. He is his mothers child!!!! He LOVES helping me cook...especally when it involves baking.

3 is such an amazing age. He is like a sponge, learns something new every day and it is sooooo much fun to have conversations with Keegan. I know it is always a little difficult for mommies to let their babies grow up...but how amazing it is to see them learn, understand and create!!!! I can only imagine Reese's personality at this age!!!! As overwhelming as parentgood can be, it truly is the most rewarding job in the world!!!!

OK...enough seriousness...now just look at these cute pics of my lil suos chef making some yummo ghirardelli brownies:)

a little of this...

and a lil of that...
Here is a whole lot of randomness...but cute none the less:) Lots more pics of Reese than normal. She actually slowed down for a moment or two for a few pics.

I love this one b.c it shows her cute lil hairdo. Have no idea where she got those curls. I am extremely envious!!!!

Hanging with Boppa. This is a rare sight too. With maturity comes thhe abilty to cuddle. Serioulsy, this child was born independent and too busy for snuggle time. Every once in a while she will bring a blanket and want to snuggle. SO SWEET!!!!

Playing with the choo choo trains. Reese calls Thomas, "Momas". This was a gift from Nana and Papa last Christmas and is still one of the kids favorites!!!!

Spiderman even loves Thomas the train.

Reese LOVES her sparkly outfit!!!! Do you think Kurt will let her wear this in about 14 years???

Enjoying the beautiful AZ weather. Perfect day for a bike ride.

Keegan crusing along:)

She looks sooooo big...and JUST like her aunt Melissa!!!!

Playing with Moon Sand. Thanks Newell family...this is a HIGE hit with both kids!!!!

SWINGING!!!!

Keegan playing a computer game...Reese being a good sister and just watching. Oh how nice it would be if life was always this peaceful and cooperative with these 2!!!!

to infinity........

AND BEYOND!!!!

The daddies were night flying so Keegan invited his buddy Talon over for dinner. Like good moms we fed our kids M&m's and popscicles:)

Keegan and Reese are REALLY starting to get into the dress up closet that I created for them at Christmas. Keegan decided that he was going to be Buzz Lightyear for the evening:)

Since we are already sad about the Boudreaux family leaving we have decided to start taking interviews so that Keegan can have another 3 year old buddy waiting in the wings. Just kidding!!!!

Enjoy the pics...

I bet you didnt know Buzz Lightyear was pretty good in the kitchen!!!

All smiles from Talon

Contemplative Buzz

Not so sure about the gloves:)

Kiddo Heaven!!!!!

We went to the Childrens Museum today with the grandparents. This is such an amazing place and I cant not beleive that this was our first time there. The kids (and adults as you will see from the pics of Kurt) LOVED it!!!! There were tunnels to climb in, houses to paint, cars to race down twisty, turney race tracks. The went grocery shopping, made pizza, and played with sand. We also did craft projects, picked flowers and rode through the tricycle car wash. What a great day...and the kids were exhausted afterwards. Well, come to think of it, so were the adults!!!! We are going to get a membership and this will be out summer safe haven from the heat.

The rest of the weekend has revolved around bday parties. Lil Hoolie turned 1 and Keegans best bud Talon is going to be 3. Noting like a sugar buzz 2 days in a row!!!! We are so lucky to have so many wonderful friends to share special occasions with.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend too...
