or so you would think since sweeping has been the preferred activity this week:) As you can tell in the background the house is hardly clean...but the kids had fun and that is all that really matters.

I think this is self explanitory...and Rebecca...I have no idea how you managed two 2 year olds at once egging each other on!!!! Seriousy though...Keegan and Eri have become the best of friends and I know Keegan is going to be very sad tomorrow when the house is quiet and all is back to normal!!!!

If you give a mom a muffin...

I copied this off of another friends blog...so there is absolutely NO originality in this post...but since I LOVE the "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" etc books...I had to include this...

This is SOOOOO true!!!!

If you give a mom a muffin
She'll want a strong cup of coffee to go with it.
She'll make herself some.
Her three-year-old will spill the coffee
She'll wipe it up.
While wiping the floor she'll find dirty socks.
She'll remember she has to do laundry.
When she puts the laundry in the washer, she'll trip
over boots and bump into the box of Goodwill items.
Bumping into the Goodwill items will remind her that
she has to get these boxes out of her basement and into the car.
When she puts the boxes in the car, she'll find a bag
of groceries and this will remind her she has to cook dinner.
She will get out the chicken defrosting in the fridge.
She'll look for her cookbook, '101 Things To Do With Chicken'
The cookbook will be sitting under a pile of mail.
She will see the Netflix movie she's meant to send
back and the phone bill, which is due tomorrow.
The checkbook will be in her purse that is being
dumped out by her one-year-old.
As she bends down to rescue her purse,
she'll smell something funny.
She'll change the baby's diaper.
While she is throwing away the diaper and searching
for the hand sanitizer, the phone will ring.
Her three-year-old will answer and hang up.
She'll remember she wants to call a friend -
not for coffee, but for a very strong drink.
Thinking of drinking will remind her that she was
going to have a cup of coffee in order to stay awake
for the rest of the day.
And chances are....
If she finds her cup of coffee (which she has to reheat by now),
Her children will have eaten the muffin that goes with it.

Ange (Keegans Godmother) and her lil guy Eri are here for a visit. It has been about 3 years since I last saw Ange...and this is the first time Keegan has ever met her...and our first time meeting Eri (long story...we blame the AF). We could not be happier that they are here...and they havent heard yet but we plan on keeping them FOREVER (sorry Nate). There will be lots of pics throughout the week I am sure...

Keegans buds came over today...

The kids played inside and out today...and the moms even got to eat a semi-peacful lucnh since the kids were so entertained...

WE LOVE PLAYDATES!!!! Now they are napping...the best part:)

So we got Keegan a chocolate bunny for Easter...but didnt let him have it that say since there were so many other sugary treats...

then the kids got sick...so obviously we didnt give it to him in the midst of the stomach flu either...

So...today was the day...and despite the fact that it was cheap, tastless chocolate, Keegan still thought he was in heaven. He was slightly concerned when h dropped it and the ears came off...but overcame that once he realized it was still edible:)

Today I am 30...and since I was born in OH and it was already the 24th there we topped of the Easter celebration with a birthday shot (for those of you whoe know him...yes,,,ALL Tams idea!!!!) Who doesnt chase Easter dinner with a few shots of J.D.

Not sure what the day holds..except yummy leftovers which means I dont have to cook!!!!






This makes being 30 not so bad:)

splish splash...

So Keegan wanted to take a bath in the middle of the day...but I had a very yucky kicthen to clean up...so I got the fantastic idea to let them splash in the water in the kitchen. Got some towels and big tupperware bowls and they went to town. I got the entire kitchen spotless and Keegan and Reese splashing water even helped clean the floor. Our only issue was when Keegan was annoyed that Reese decided to sit in one of the bowls. That was just not acceptable to him!!!! In the last pic can you see Reese's 2 top teeth coming in ??? (click on it to enlarge!!!)

oh no...she's on the go!!!!

Here is video of Reese cruising around the house. The video is new but she has been doing this for several weeks. Our camera that can take video is broken so I have to wait until a friend was over. Thanks Jenny!!!!
